Well I am at the 3rd leg of the relay and today it is Miranda! The artists at Sassy Studio Designs have been doing a fabulous job in creating these characters into great digis. The challenge for this relay was to "keep it simple". I love to make my card simple so I was excited for this challenge. My pattern paper is from Die Cut with a View: Downtown Loft paper collection. I found it for a great deal at TJ Max. I hope you like!

Sassy in the City Relay: Samantha Sassy
Hola,
I am in the second leg of the Sassy in the City Relay, this time is Sexy Samatha. Again the Sassy group did a great job in creating a Sam digi. In my card, I used some digital Word Art & number Alpha from Fay-Ettes Designs "Hey Girlfriend! The Bundle!". I used a little stickle for some bling. I hope you like. On to the third leg!

Sassy in the City Relay: Charlotte Sassy
Hola,
I am sharing my Charlotte Sassy card. The first of the Sassy in the City Relay challenge. I love this image and I am a great fan of the show double the fun! I wanted to create a pattern on her dress so I used a fine tip marker and I made small dots. I hope you like this card. Can't wait to see the next Sassy in the City digi.
Thank you Sassy Ladies for another great image !

Crochet Slipper Mania
Hola,
I have been busy making crochet slippers lately. I had so much fun making them; that in a week I made two! I enjoyed them bc they are quick and required very little yarn ( Stash Buster!) The first set of slippers I made are from a pattern called Pea Pod Slider Slippers by Robyn Chachula. The pattern is from Baby Blueprint Crochet book. I used Caron Simply Soft yarn although the pattern calls for a DK weight yarn. I wanted to make a bigger size of the slipper so I upped the yarn weight which gave me a larger gauge to create a 6 1/2 in long slippers. Check it out:

The second slipper that I made was from a cute pattern from the Two Girls Patterns Etsy shop. You can also find this pattern at Ravelry called the Valerie Toddler House slipper pattern. I used the Lily Sugar' N Cream cotton yarn that I had in my stash. The colors for very summery and my daughter loves pink. I added some cute butterfly buttons. I hope you like. There is an adult version to this pattern which I will be making very soon so check back soon!
